Ourcellar Comment: We REALLY, REALLY, REALLY like this! A typical Barossa with lots of puncy flavour but also pretty soft. Seriously ridiculous value.
Winemakers note: Several batches of Shiraz fruit from selected from Barossa Valley vineyards as well as small quantities from Wrattonbully, were crushed and fermented separately. The wines were pumped over three times a day to extract intense colour and soft tannins. The wine was then matured in a combination of French & American oak for 12 months before blending and bottling. The resulting wine has excellent depth of colour, richness and complexity.
Colour: Intense red with purple hues
Aroma: An aromatic bouquet of dark berries and spice
Palate: Ripe red fruit flavours complimented by fine tannins and toasty vanillin oak.
