Vintage 2021
The Tri-Centenary Grenache from Yalumba has striking and complex aromas of wild cherries, raspberries and pomegranates, entwined with orange zest, pepper, spices and hints of cedar. The fruit is handpicked from old and gnarly bush vines planted in 1889, then left on skins post-fermentation for 250 days creating a silky texture with great length. With vibrant acidity and defined tannins this stunning wine is ready to drink now, but will also evolve with 5-7 years cellaring.
"Planted in 1889, the Tri-Centenary block has been around for three centuries, hence the name. A Grenache like no other, the weight and complexity don't match the bright colour in the glass. This is an impressive wine." - Qwine
