Vintage 2021

95 points Halliday.

95 points Cameron Douglas.

Opaque with a core of dark purple with a ruby rim leads to a bouquet of complexity and power, baking spices and roasted berry fruits, cacao and cinnamon, violets and a nutty-rich layer of smoky barrel. Dry, complex, powerful and delicious, a wine of texture and flavour, mouthfeel and style. Flavours of dark berries and baking spices wrapped in a flourish of tannins and acidity both adding a tautness and complexity. Well made, lengthy and classic from Yalumba. Best drinking from day or purchase through 2038. Cameron Douglas MS, 07 Oct 2024

Magenta in colour with a full depth hue. The aroma is a delightful mix of mulberries and violets with a hint of rhubarb. An opulent mix of warm berry compote, juicy dark red plums, dark chocolate and cloves with a hint of nutmeg. The finish is long and lingering with mouth watering tannins

    AWESOME CAB SAV

Very nice wine! Full bodied and well balanced. Great with food or enjoy it on its own. Current favourite. Ourcellar has the best price with quick delivery.

As good as a bottle twice its price

A genuinely beautiful red; rich and rounded. No bitter aftertaste, but not at all sweet or fruity either, just the perfect balance. I've had bottles for two or even three times this money that failed to impress like this one does. My new go to.

    Damn good Cab Sav

I first tried this wine two years ago and I buy it whenever I see it offered. It seems to be in short supply and is well worth buying if you can find it. I'm not a wine connoisseur but this definitely a quality wine and in a restaurant you'll be paying $50 a bottle.
