Either or, you're winning both ways with this Yalumba Eden Valley in your glass. Grab a glass and sit back to feel some inner peace. This is a great drink for 28 bucks. An apricot fest from the get-go, think fresh apricots and canned apricot nectar. A fabulous drive and presence adorn the mid-palate that tightens a little. Mascarpone, almonds, ginger nut biscuits all put their shoulder to the wheel. That delicate ginger and cinnamon spice stays the course and builds some wonderful momentum. If you enjoy Chardonnays with some give, it's worth throwing your hat in the ring and having a shot at this. Well priced, it's a very good drink - if you give Viognier a chance. Drink to five years.
Pure aromas reminiscent of fresh apricots, lifted ginger and fresh white flowers. The palate is long and silky, with stone fruit flavours, a hint of exotic saffron and finishing with an alluring freshness.
