Deep magenta in colour. Red plum aromas with lovely oak notes and perfumed florals such as violets with hints of dried herb. The palate is plush and full bodied with the Merlot showing through as blueberry and blackcurrant fruits. The sweet fruit is well supported by the Cabernet tannins and acidity, along with the dark chocolate edge from the oak.

Blackcurrant, eucalyptus, smoked tobacco, blueberry and black licorice, with cedar oak in support. There's a clear sweetness to the profile here, and softness, but then there are savoury/herbal notes as a counterpoint. It drinks easily and well".
