Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Aromas of ripe spicy plums tinged with Christmas cake intermix with hints of liquorice and subtle earthy leather notes. Full bodied with a ripe plump feel the palate has flavours of spicy sweet plums and raisined fruit with some liquorice, vanillin oak and subtle earth also evident. Velvety tannins. Concludes with a medium length aftertaste.
