Vintage 2022

Scarborough Yellow Label Chardonnay is selected from the deep hillside red/brown terra rossa/limestone soils of the Scarborough Estate property.

The wine is then fermented and matured on lees for 12 months in both new and aged French oak which gives it its characteristic melon and butterscotch characters on the nose and a full, round and rich palate. This is consistently good Hunter Valley Chardonnay and terrific value.

A well rounded Chardonnay that is perfect for every occasion A deep yellow in colour and deliciously dry is this French Oaked Chardonnay It is my go to for everyday because I like it so much but is always welcome at special occasions Reasonably priced for the quality Would highly recommend this drop

    Consistently good traditional style Chardonnay

Posted by Mike Lovick on 7th Oct 2019

We love the Scarborough yellow label Chardonnay and pick up a case every 6 months or so. The most recent purchase ( another doz. of the 2016) did not disappoint. Still fresh with stone fruit notes, it has a hint of lusciousness and a nice oaky base. Delicious.

    Almost an old fashioned Chardonnay

Love this wine. Great value for what you get. Not quite the Rosemount Reserve Chardonnay they made 20 tears ago but close.

    BUY

Scarborough Yellow Label Chardonnay 2015 – $20 at Our Cellar. Serious chardy, fermented on lees, malolactic fermentation and partial new oak storage all add up to a chardie with a lot going for it. Not as big and buttery as it was once, but it makes up for that with layers of flavour and complexity. Will improve for 5 years. 95 points. BUY. Kim Brebach. 'Best Wines Under $20'

One of the best chardys at a very reasonable price

Posted by Jan on 5th Apr 2018

The Scarborough yellow label chardonnay is consistently very good. I like chardonnays that are aged in oak. You can't beat the Our Cellar price
