Vintage 2023

From the renowned Wilyabrup region of the Margaret River, this delicious Chardonnay is ripe and full-bodied. Pale lemon in colour with aromas of ripe stone fruits, cashews and a hint of flint. On the palate you'll find guava, pink grapefruit and lemon zest with a savoury and slightly salty sea-air notes that lead into a long mineral finish.

"Smells like Margaret River: Sea spray and green tea, tree bark, soft creamy hues, a little nutty cashew action and easy stone fruit and citrus zest. Spice and drive, with the lime fruit under stone fruit with that briny, salinity sea spray Margs quality.     A surprising Chardonnay. Really fresh but with an excellent full body with rich and round flavours. Classic stone fruits, lemon curd and cashews. Really delicious!

    A brand new addition to the ever-growing Hill Smith Family Estates (HSFE) tribe, and it's among the best Chardonnays I’ve tasted in the last 12 months: classic Willyabrup intensity, energy and appeal. Just a gorgeous, vibrant mouthful that you keep coming back to. The price is a bonus. Back up the ute. 96 points.
