A prestigious clear double malt beer with an alcohol content of 6.6%, this beer is the result of a careful, scrupulous selection of the most noble qualities of aromatic hops, yeast and a spring variety of distichous barley named "cherie".     This is my favourite beer. Peroni Red is one of the best tasting lagers available and the Doppio Malto is even better. It has a fantastic rich malt flavour balanced with a refreshing lager experience. Be warned... @ 6.6% avb, it can put you on your bum quickly.

    My all time favourite beer

    I was recommended to this beer by a friend and didn't expect too much. But he was right, this is a great beer. The pleasing shape of the bottle is surpassed only by the taste of the beer within. Very nice indeed. One of life's pleasures and I keep some in the fridge always.
