Vintage 2018

Mogul Rare Diamond is a blend of 67% Shiraz and 33% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from the Lower Murray, Langhorne Creek & Wrattonbully areas of South Australia.

Rich ruby red in colour, this is a silky smooth blend with subtle tannins, earthy aromas and juicy flavours of dark berries. Vanilla and chocolate notes coupled with hints of blackberries and spice on the palate.

"A splendid blend of shiraz and cabernet, the inviting bouquet shows dark plum, spiced cherry, smoked game, thyme and hazelnut characters. The palate displays succulent fruit intensity together with plump mouthfeel and silky texture beautifully wrapped in rounded tannins, making it gorgeously drinkable.     This wine is a bargain. It is full-bodied with a fine after-taste. A delicious wine to accompany any meat dish, cheese, pasta dishes.

    A very good wine at great value. Worth buying. Drinking very well now but I think it still has 3-4 years to peak.

    The label suggests this wine was destined for the Chinese market. It has traditional corks and looks classy. It is a delicious wine as the 93 rating suggested it might be.

    Best value for money red I’ve had in recent memory

    This is a steal at what works out to be less than $9/bottle. Drinks like a wine twice the price. I bought a case and then two more once I realised how good it was. At that price I’d say it can’t be beaten.
