OurCellar Comment: Crackin French Pinot for the money. Highly recommended!

Vintage 2023

A delightful French Pinot Noir at a ridiculous price! Soft, supple, great cherry & strawberry characters and a soft tannin finish. Is this the best value French Pinot that we sell? Absolutely!

A medium-bodied wine, bursting with fruit flavors on a delicate oaky background. Flavors linger well in the mouth. Smooth and well-balanced.

Lajolie wines are classified as 'Vin de France' and offer exceptional value for money wines at the price. Made by Francoise Chauvenet, Burgundy, France

Easy to drink every day Pinot, with a smooth, fruity taste. Good quality for this price.

A winner in my 'testing' of Pinot Noir wine on offer

Posted by JOHN BALKWILL on 11th Mar 2017

A hint of fruit on the nose. Smooth feel in the mouth; soft tannins. Light pleasant cherry taste. Taste improved when slightly chilled. Hard to stop drinking this nice surprisingly good drop at the price.

The Lajolie Pinot Noir has been a wonderful surprise

Posted by Barbara on 3rd Oct 2016

The Lajolie Pinot Noir has been a wonderful surprise, and especially at the price of approximately $10 a bottle. It was soft and smooth and with the great taste of a good Pinot Noir. Also what I liked is it did not bite the back of my throat on the way down. So easy to drink and a real crowd-pleaser.

A nice easy drinker at a good price

Posted by David from New Lambton on 26th Jul 2016

I have very little experience with pinot noir so not a lot to compare this too, however the Lajolie was a very nice drop indeed. Nice subtle flavours and a pleasant alternative to the heavier more fruit driven red varieties we usually enjoy. I like!!!

    Awesome value, good Pinot

Posted by Jon Ackary on 21st Jul 2016

Simple fruit driven Pinot nicely ripe, very drinkable and tasty. If I had tasted it blind I would have expected to pay more than double what I paid, actually a stunner for this price.

    It's all gone !!!!

Posted by Paul from Lurline Bay NSW and Lajolie Pinot Noir Lover on 4th Feb 2016

Hi Paul I am usually reluctant to write reviews but in this case I needed to share our thoughts with you because this particular Pinot suffers from a significant disadvantage in that it's nominated contents of 750 ml is quite clearly not big enough! It's all gone !!!!

Best Pinot Noir my husband has ever had!

My husband loves Pinot Noir and I bought this for him. He absolutely loved it and I have already placed two orders. The price is such good value. Highly recommend this wine.
