The heart of J&B RARE is formed by Speyside Malt Whiskies. They provide the fruity, fresh quality you can taste, and give J&B its light colour. Speyside is recognised as the superior area in Scotland for making malt.

Added to that are some of the finest grain whiskies Scotland has to offer. They help reveal the individual flavours of the various malts, unveiling the pleasant, smooth character of J&B.

    A gentle, smooth, beautiful scotch

    J&B Rare is one of those rare scotch whiskies that is gentle and smooth to taste and leaves a beautiful after-taste. Either that or my oesophagus, liver and bladder have not matured enough to handle some of the rougher, harsh, look-out-liver-here-I-come variants. Every now and then I have a glass of water instead - just to surprise my liver. But please be assured - I do not have a problem with alcohol - I have a problem WITHOUT it !! :-) As for Our Cellar - I cannot praise them highly enough. VERY quick delivery and whenever I am not at home when they deliver they abide by the instructions I ask for. And NEVER a bottle broken. Thank you, Our Cellar.

    A light and smooth blended Scotch, but full of flavour. Leaves the big name brands for dead.
