"It's lovely wine I've drunk a fair few bottles of this over the years, and it is such a lovely expression of botrytised Eden Valley riesling. It always seems to be on the knife's edge. It's kinetic, a constant dance between unctuous fruit with its apricot, lemon barley, candied lime, honeycomb, wildflower, ginger and jasmine tone and the fine, minerally acidity that keeps all in line. Gold with green-gold tints. Reminiscent of white flowers, cumquat, honeycomb, hints of marzipan, nutmeg and cardamom spice. Luscious and crisp with intense flavours of dried citrus, fresh apricots, lavender and fresh honey, complemented by fine mineral acidity.
