Vintage 2023/2024
Elvarado is an interpretation of a classic wine style of the Mediterranean. It brings together two leading varieties of Spanish origin in Tempranillo and Garnacha (Grenache) that are very much at home in their vineyards of McLaren Vale and deliver the renowned stylish and juicy flavours of the Mediterranean.
Opaque dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Top notes of dark cherry and dark raspberry overlay hints of choc mint with traces of liquorice and spicy earth also evident. Light to medium weight flavours of dark cherries intermix with some earthy chocolate like characters. Fresh herb infusions and spice then ensue. Dry, slightly dusty tannins with a moderate aftertaste.
