Ara single estate Marlborough NZ Chardonnay.
Our favourite tipple from Giesen is no longer available. This was recommended to us, along with a sample to try. We are impressed by the bouquet, colour, taste with a lingering palate. Not quite as good as the Giesen, but right up there.

Ara Chardonnay
This has rapidly become our favourite chardy. Have now bought this a couple of times now it’s very easy to drink and very mellow. Not quite as oaky as I usually like but still has a slight hint of oak. Nevertheless we love it and would certainly recommend to those chardy lovers

Very satisfying taste of Oak
As a lover of old fashioned chardonnay it was a very pleasant surprise to discover this wine at my local restaurant. The more recent chardonnays are light and lack that deep oak characteristic which I love.
