Deep red in colour, with some purple hues, complex aromas of red berry integrate perfectly with more savoury and red pepper notes with a gentle touch of oak. The rich mouth filling palate has flavours following through from the initial impression of berries and more complex capsicum family characters with delightful savoury notes, clean tannins and soft background oak on the finish

    The daily drink

    Trying to find a good red daily drink meant trying Aldi, the Australian and bottle shop medalled wines to avoid stomach acid, burnt throat and leg cramps from cheaper wines. Angove has some really good robust reliable fine wine, but I found this one suited my budget and taste.

    Good wine for regular drinking

    Smooth, yet tasty red, not as sharp as shiraz, but as good as many wines I've tried which are double the price. I have found Angove a reliable brand with least side effects compared to other brands.
