Vintage 2020
Pays d'Oc, Southern France
The fruit for this wine come from the Aude Valley in the foothills of the Pyrenees which have great slightly cooler climates and great rainfalls that leads to wonderful wines. A complex yet rich Pinot Noir with loads of darker berry notes and touches of delicate oak and vanilla, this is a great example of French Pays d'Oc Pinot Noir.
The majority of this complex Syrah underwent a long maceration period in order to give maximum roundness and just the right amount of tannins with the rest seeing carbonic maceration in order to bring out juicy rich fruit. Overall a deep wine with lots of raspberry, currant and mint notes with a beautiful silky finish. Definitely a wonderful example of complex French Syrah's.
